Java - Get It Now

Spring Framework
Overview:
With webPhoto, you are just seconds away from sharing your iPhoto library with whomever you would like, on any OS, using just a web browser.

Software Requirements:
webPhoto is a Java web application, which means that you must have a Java Virtual Machine (JVM) that supports version 1.4.1 or higher. Use Software Update on Mac OS X or click here for a direct download (note: 10.2.6 or higher required for Java 1.4 on Mac OS X).
The computer running webPhoto does not need to have the iPhoto application on it, but it does need to be able to access the "iPhoto Library" folder that iPhoto stores its files in.
  1. Mac OS X 10.2.6 (or higher)
  2. Java 1.4 (or higher)
  3. "iPhoto Library" folder from iPhoto 2, 4 or 5

Installation Instructions:
  1. Download it
IconClick here to download webPhoto. The file is a "zipped" Mac OS X application. You will have to unzip the file before proceeding to the next step.
  2. Launch it
Double-click the webPhoto application. Once it launches, click the "Start" button.
  3. Set it Up
Once webPhoto finishes launching, click the "Go to Site" button. Since webPhoto has not been set up yet, you will be directed to the Site Administration page. Enter the path to your iPhoto Library folder by using the pop-up folder chooser. You should also change the default administrator password at this point or delete that account and create your own administrator account. Click "Save", and webPhoto will read your iPhoto Library.

If you need to get back to the Site Administration page and you have not created any other administrator accounts, the default administrator username is "admin" and the default password is "[350z]" (without the quotes, of course, but with the brackets).
